How to Create a Customer Quote?

Sequence > Left Navigation Bar > Sales > Quotes

  1. Follow the above-mentioned workflow to land on the Customer Budget grid.
  2. Click the Create quote button. Doing so takes you to the Create a quote screen.
  3. Select the customer from the Customer dropdown. As a customer is selected, the reference number is automatically populated in the Reference field.
  4. Select the project you want to associate the quote with using the Associate project dropdown.
  5. Similarly, select the currency, issue date, and due date from the Currency dropdown, Issue, and Due date selectors.
  6. if you select a currency other than CHF you can change the rate in edit rate, under services or products. 

  7. Moving on to the Quote Details section, select the category of sale from the Sale Category dropdown.
  8. Select whether you want to include VAT or not using the TVA Excluded/Included dropdown.
  9. Use the item row to record the Service or product, Qt, Units, Hourly Rate, and TVA for the item. Category can be custom by clicking the three-dot icon at the end and selecting Personalize Category.

  10. To add a new item, click + Add a line button.
  11. Click the Parameters button to custom fields in item, select language and format, and customize categories in all rows.
  12. Enter any comments in the Comments field.
  13. Once the required information is recorded, click the Generate and Send button.
  14. For more options, click the downward arrow icon next to the Generate and Send button. This reveals a number of options allowing you to Generate without sending, Generate and download, Generate, send and finish, and Save as draft.
