How to Add an allocation from Timesheet?
Sequence > Left Navigation Bar > My Space > Timesheet
Allocations are the hours performed by employees and recorded in the timesheet so that they can be allocated to customers when an invoice is created.
To create an account assignment, you must create billable services on an hourly basis.
To add a new allocation:
- Follow the above-mentioned workflow to land on the Timesheet screen.
- From the timeslot for at which you want to add an allocation, click the +Add button. Doing so opens the New account assignment window.
- Here, select the client using the Client dropdown.
- Use the Service dropdown to select the service.
- Select the project using the Project dropdown (optional).
- Use the Date calendar to select the date.
- Enter the duration of the allocation in the Duration field.
- Enter a description of the account assignment in the Description textbox (optional).
- Once the required selections are made, click the Validate entry button.
Tip
If you want to assign a project to invoice per project, you must create a project and assign it to the customer to whom you are going to create the allocation.
