1. To manage your products and services, click Sales in the left-hand sidebar.
2. From the options that appear, click Services and Products.
3. In this section, click the New service or product button.
4. Choose whether you want to add a service or a product by clicking the corresponding tab.
5. Enter the name of your service or product.
6. Enter the unit rate and select the type of units.
7. Select whether this product or service is billable.
8. Choose the default sales VAT rate as well as the sales category.
The sales category lets you keep your accounts simple and automatic, without needing any accounting knowledge. Just choose what it relates to, and Sequence will take care of posting the sales for this product to the right accounts. For more advanced management, the “Other” option gives access to the chart of accounts (recommended for users with accounting knowledge).
9. Add a description of the product or service if you consider it necessary.
10. Click Confirm to complete the creation of the product or service.
11. To edit a product or service, click on the row of the one you want to edit.
12. The same window as for creation will open. Make any changes needed, then click Confirm.
13. To delete a service or product, click on the three-dot icon for the one you want to delete and click Delete.
14. A pop-up window will ask you to confirm the deletion of the product or service. Click Confirm.
15. To search for a specific product or service, use the search bar or the filters located above the table.
16. Expand the filters to be able to apply them.
17. To clear them, click the cross (X).
