Top menu > "+" Icon > New service
1. Click the + button among the action buttons located in the top right corner of the screen. Doing so reveals a list of options.
2.From these options, click New Service. This will take you to the Create a New Service or Product screen.
3. Indicate whether you want to create a service or a product by selecting the corresponding tab.
4. Enter the name of the service or product.
5. Specify the unit rate and units.
6. Select whether it is billable or not.
7. Select whether the product or service includes a default sales VAT.
8. Select whether the product or service is associated with a specific sales category.
The sales category allows you to manage your accounting easily and automatically, without any accounting knowledge. Simply choose what the item is, and Sequence will take care of recording the sales of that product in the right place. For more advanced management, the "other" option gives access to the chart of accounts (recommended for users with accounting knowledge).
9. Add a description if you consider it necessary.
10. To finish, click Confirm.
